Non-ordained workers (NOWs) are employed by congregations to serve as community workers, youth workers, family workers and addiction support workers. Generation encourages and equips these workers. We give them the chance to meet, discuss and explore the similar challenges that they face. Training days take place twice a year for a time of teaching, prayer sharing of ideas, resources and experiences. They can reflect on their work and share stories of how God has richly blessed them.
“It was a great opportunity to get together with other Free Church of Scotland workers and share the joys and challenges of ministry with one another. It’s so helpful to be able to meet with people who are in similar roles and learn from one another. I’m really excited about the start of this new network and look forward to future training days!”
