Join us on Friday 30th November 2018 for our National Day of Prayer.
We would be delighted if you could set aside time on Friday to pray with fellow Christians in praying for our church, our nation, our world and for all people. We need God, we need Jesus and we need the gospel. Martin Luther put it well when he said, “To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.”
Seeking to reach Scotland with the Gospel, seeking to win Scotland for Jesus Christ and seeking to make disciples of all nations are impossible objectives. Prayer connects us with the living God, the maker of heaven and earth, and his Son Jesus Christ who reminds us “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
Luke 18: 27
Remember the simple exhortation of Paul to a young church which was a model for gospel outreach, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16 – 18.
Whether you pray individually, in small groups and or in your church fellowships there is so much that we can be praying for.
