Praying For One Another - April 2019 (Week 1)

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." Romans 12:12 (ESV)

Bon Accord

We are a historic church located in a beautifully restored and modernised building in the heart of the City of Aberdeen, the 3rd largest city in Scotland. The congregation is diverse and seeks to serve Aberdeen which is the oil capital of the UK as well as housing 2 universities, a growing bioscience industry and a burgeoning tourist sector. Our motto is: Glorify God. Be like Jesus. Change the world.

Prayer Points

  1. Pray that we will be wise in the stewardship of our lovely building and that it will be used for vibrant worship and missional enterprise.

  1.  A group of new and younger office bearers have recently been elected. Give thanks for both unity and vision among the leadership. Give thanks that many elements of a recent strategy document have been able to be implemented. Pray that the vision will not be diminished.

Golspie

A rural church in the north of Scotland, Golspie, a very welcoming community, has a population around 1500 people: Council headquarters, hospital, secondary and primary schools are some of the main employment opportunities that exist, along with the local trades. GFC is a happy church. Much more information about GFC's life & activities can be found on the GFC website and Facebook page.
