Clyne Free Church is at the heart of the community. It is a small congregation, presently without a minister and yet still fully active in mission and ministry.

Prayer Points

  1. Give thanks for new people attending from local area
  2. Pray that we continue to develop a mindset and culture of mission within the congregation, and for building relationships within the local community, especially schools

Shawbost

Shawbost Church is located on the west side of the Isle of Lewis. Situated in the heart of the community it is the only church in the community with a population of around 500. We have just over 130 members of different ages. Church activities include a creche, Sunday School, Youth fellowship, and congregational fellowships.

Prayer Points

  1. Pray for the Kirk Session as they work through a strategy for evangelism and evangelistic outreach in the community. Pray for the congregation that they will continue to develop a mission-mindedness as we seek to serve the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  2. Pray for our young people that their interest in the gospel would continue to be developed and that they would face their daily challenges with an understanding of how the Bible speaks about everyday life issues as well as the issues of personal salvation.
